The deadline for tourism providers to register in the National Tourism Registry (RNT) and Hotel Classification System (SCH) has been extended as follows:
For the National Tourism Registry (RHT): Deadline – June 30, 2017
For the Hotel Classification System (SCH): Deadline – September 14, 2017
All tourism service providers are urged to complete registration in a timely manner to avoid penalties and fines that, as is known, range between 40,000 and 120,000 pesos.
This is a mandatory procedure though at no cost to the provider, and will further benefit all who register as they will be part of the global digital platform promoted by SECTUR where anyone interested in visiting a destination will be able to enter and find out what services are available where they plan to visit.
