Cornhole Tournament looks at urgent needs of Santa Claus Club

URGENT CALL TO HELP FOLLOWING ROSA AND SERGIO STORMS

John Fowler, resident “Santa Claus” of the Santa Claus Club, has been providing food, clothes, toys, bicycles, school supplies, and household items to needy families in Puerto Peñasco for the past 35 years – and for over 10 years he’s been doing that all year long, not just at Christmas!  During John’s visits for two weeks after the recent storms of Rosa and Sergio, he reported “this was the worst damage I have seen in 35 years. The people in the barrios have lost their houses, their clothes, shoes and food got ruined, floors in their houses turned to mud, roofs fell in and roads have been destroyed. They need our help to rebuild their lives.”

With a fundraising cornhole tournament already in the works for Oct. 26th-27th, the trail that Rosa & Sergio left behind has spurred additional fundraising efforts with a raffle in conjunction with the Cornhole tournament Oct. 27, 2018. 100% of the money from the tournament and the raffle will go directly to the people in the barrios. You can help the people in the barrios and win prizes too. Tickets are $2.00 each, 6 for $10.00, 13 for $20.00 and 40 for $50.00. You do NOT have to be present to win.
