There’s a wonderful gift out there for friends and family this holiday season, which at the same time aims to help protect 6 endangered species found in the Gulf of California. This perfect gift would be a bottle of wine, or a package of six wines, promoted by the Intercultural Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans (CEDO).
In its desire to strengthen continued awareness across the community about species found in the Gulf of California, CEDO has developed a wine project by creating labels representing each of the six endangered species: Pacific Seahorse, Green Sea Turtle, California Sea Lion, Vaquita, Least Tern and Totoaba.
The CEDO Intercultural Collector’s package includes wine offerings for all tastes, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Malbec, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Each wine is developed with certified organic grapes and also available for individual purchase.
