The rumbling roar of motorcycles rolling through town last week has pretty much subsided. Rocky Point 360 was a proud sponsor of this year’s Rocky Point Rally! Reports are there were approximately 5500 to 6000 bikes in town, and the local Convention and Visitors Bureau (OCV) details with both the rally and other events around town there were approximately 30,000 visitors to our seaside spot last weekend! Plus, just over $108,000 pesos (approximately $8600 US) was recently presented to the 7 charity groups that benefit from this yearly event.
Now with another Rally year under our belt, we turn to this weekend – which across Mexico is known as BUEN FIN given tremendous shopping deals and discounts to help launch the Holiday gift buying season. This is a three-day weekend in Mexico (yes, remember banks and many offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 18th) in honor of Mexican Revolutionary Day Nov. 20th.
