Semana Santa in Puerto Peñasco! Easter weekend. Possibly the busiest time of the year – Thursday through Sunday – so be ready for bandas, tráfico, fiestas, and más bandas in all their colorful glory! For a taste of tradition, Friday is the “Stations of the Cross” departing from the malecón at 9 a.m. (plan to be there early and, to be honest, park well outside of Old Port and walk to the event). Banks, offices, and pretty much everyone is off work Thursday and Friday – while area schools are out through April 27th. Let’s run down the weekend! Stay safe and enjoy!
