The City of Puerto Peñasco, through the Office on Citizens’ Affairs along with the Pinacate and Grand Desert of Altar Biosphere Reserve, extend an invitation to the 8th hike “Por los Caminos de Kino” – in honor of Padre Kino’s exploration of the area.

March 29 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Begin at Cono Rojo after first registering at Biology Station, km 52 along Sonoyta – Puerto Peñasco Highway
5 p.m. Conference (in Spanish) about the Walks of Padre Kino through this area, presentations and documentaries about the Reserve’s natural richness
March 30 – 7 a.m. Departure from Cono Rojo for hiking options
