This Weekend Rundown sponsored by Giuseppi’s on Blvd. Fremont
Somehow we’ve already marched our way right into February. With temperatures pointing up, along with an increasing number of Winter Visitors, activities are also beginning to pick up around town. We heard there’s still 6 weeks of winter….somewhere…so in the meantime let’s run down the weekend. If you are new to the “Rundown”, be sure to check the info below on events not only for this weekend but for a glimpse at what’s coming up in the year!
Rains from last weekend certainly left their mark on Puerto Peñasco, deepening and widening a number of existing craters across city streets while adding new dips and valleys to our urban landscape. This, along with ongoing road work in some parts of town, make traversing through Puerto Peñasco an ongoing adventure. Please drive carefully around town and pay close attention to road work. Tip: When coming from the North, we recommended turning at the sign toward Laguna del Mar and then join up with the coastal road just past the train tracks. This leads easily to Sandy Beach area, allowing to double-back to town (avoiding Blvd. Josefa for the moment) or out to Cholla Bay.
