Municipal Treasurer Maritza Montijo Quintana invites all Puerto Peñasco residents/property owners to take advantage of discounts City Hall is offering on Property Tax payments if paid promptly.
The city treasurer detailed the municipal treasury is offering a 20% discount on property taxes if payment is made in the month of January, 15% in February, and finally a 10% discount if done in March. As an extra incentive, the City is offering tax payers the opportunity to enter a raffle for a 2020 Chevrolet Aveo.
Maritza Montijo added the “Voluntary Contributions” on the tax bill is destined directly to supporting the local Fire Department & Civil Protection Unit, the Amores de Peñasco Orphanage, Red Cross, and the Municipal Scholarship Fund for children.
Residents can pay property taxes at the Municipal Collections Office, is located on Boulevard Kino (near intersection with) Constitution Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. City Hall also provides their online portal through which residents can make their payments:
