Memorial Day Weekend is once again upon us! Plus, music for a good cause – The beach stage at Wrecked on the way to Cholla Bay will be holding benefit shows all weekend long, with proceeds to go to medical expenses for musician Shawn Johnson who has also graced Wrecked’s stage from time to time. Take in the music, maybe a beach volleyball game, and cozy yet fantastic seaside venue, while contributing to a great cause!

Looking to race around or fish? Make a pit stop at the Rocky Point Speedway on the way to Cholla Bay for your chance to hop in a race car (or ride shotgun) and race around the track!
This is also the final weekend for the Cholla Bay Sportsman’s Club Fishing Derby – now in its 63rd year! Fishing to take place May 24th – 26th, followed up with a Fish Fry and Awards on the 27th

In commemoration of U.S. Memorial Day, the local American Legion will be holding a Flag Ceremony at their site in the Mirador 10 a.m. (formerly Los Juanes / across from Pink Cadillac)
Before you go! On Monday, don’t miss out on Peñasco’s top trop-rocker Mark Mulligan (well, visiting trop-rocker) who will be taking the stage at Chango’s on Sandy Beach. Advanced tickets recommended.
