For nearly 10 years (yes, almost 10 years!) Puerto Peñasco has been home to three spectacular golf courses and next week, Feb. 25th and 26th, two of these clubs will face each other in the first ever “Rocky Point Cup.” (Spots on both teams reportedly still available)

Torres, Golf Director at The Links at Las Palomas, and Greg Bialy, Laguna del Mar Golf aficionado and leader of the LDM team, explain the two-day mid-week tournament seeks to strengthen ties between current golfers in Puerto Peñasco while inviting many more to join the ranks. During a quick press conference on Friday, Feb. 13th held at Wrecked at the Reef, it is easy to see the tournament will surely fulfill the objective of fostering camaraderie and healthy competition while promoting the golf clubs of Puerto Peñasco.

In this 1st Rocky Point Club teams of 20 golfers each from The Links at Las Palomas and The Club at Laguna del Mar will face off on Wednesday and Thursday, working their way around the competitive courses, gaining points for their team to see who will take the trophy back to their club till next time. Galley spectators are Welcome!

Cost: $90 US per person

Registration includes: 2 rounds of golf, logo shirts, breakfast, lunch, team trophy presented at awards ceremony at The Wrecked
