In considering the many ways to celebrate Mom and Mother’s Day in Rocky Point, how about signing up for a day-trip to Isla San Jorge (aka Bird Island), which is a seal and sea lion sanctuary just a short boat ride away. Mother’s Day Bird Island Adventure – May 12th
Departing 9:00 am out of Fonatur Dock located at the entrance (on the right) of Old Port. You can pay as you board. EcoFun accepts major credit cards, USD Cash or Pesos.
Please bring sunscreen, hat, bathing suite and beach towel. EcoFun will provide for everthing else. Lunch will be served upon arrival at Bird Island, along with an open bar offering kids and adult drinks. (Actually drink service starts after departure from Old Port). EcoFun offers kayaking, snorkeling, and swimming with the Sea Lions. They have two private bathrooms, where you can change into swimwear if needed. Special Mother’s Day pricing! Adults $60 (reg $75) 18 & older Kids $40 (reg $55) The Kon-Tiki Bar offers juices, sodas, mixed drinks, cold cerveza on both decks of the spacious passenger catamaran. Arrive back in Old Port around 3:30 pm. Don’t forget your camera!!
