Our friends from PenascoHoy.com, a local website in Spanish with great news and tidbits about Rocky Point, shared with us the following announcement about an amazing basketball exhibition set for this weekend, March 31st at 5 p.m. The Municipal Sports Institute (IMD), in coordination with trainer Francisco Bercovich, will be holding a wheelchair basketball exhibition at the Municipal Gym (located on Blvd. Juarez almost right across from Las Olas restaurant). Fernando López Trasviña, Sports Director for the IMD explains the exhibition game will include a team from Nogales against one from Hermosillo, and the goal is to promoting this para-olympic sport. So, come on by and catch the exhibition game this Saturday, March 31st 5 p.m. @ the Municipal Gym.
Juego de exhibición de basquet sobre silla de ruedas
El Instituto Municipal del Deporte en coordinación con el entrenador Francisco Bercovich, llevaran a cabo este sábado 31 de marzo juegos de exhibición de basquetbol sobre silla de ruedas, donde se enfrentaran las escuadras de Nogales contra Hermosillo, esto es con el fin de impulsar el deporte paraolímpico así lo dio a conocer Fernando López Trasviña director del deporte de Puerto Peñasco, un evento que se realizara en el gimnasio municipal a las 5:00 PM no faltes y apoya al deporte.
