A true Mexican duel between two “gallos” is set for September 8th, when Puerto Peñasco native Juan Francisco “El Gallo” Estrada Romero will face Felipe “El Gallito” Orocuta, at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.
The upcoming bout, which is important for both Mexican fighters, will define whether or not Juan “El Gallo” Estrada gets his chance at revenge against Thai fighter Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, who defeated Estrada by unanimous decision when they faced off in Superfly 2 in February of this year.
For “El Gallo” Estrada, this match signifies the possibility of going for the super-fly title, which he expects to hold above his head. To prepare for the September bout, Estrada has been training in Jiquipelco, State of Mexico where he is taking advantage of the altitude and climate.
The night promises to be a “historic encounter” given the qualities of the two Mexican fighters as well as others on the Superfly 3 line-up, including Donnie Niettes vs Aston Palicte; and Kasuto Ioka vs McWilliams Arroyo.
