Tropical Depression Javier

On Monday evening, 10:30 p.m. the port was closed to all type of watercraft given intensified winds ranging from 35-45 KM/HR with gusts upwards of 50 KM/HR.

With this forecast, stemming from “Tropical Depression Javier”, closure of ports is expected to remain in place throughout Tuesday and Wednesday, with decreased winds around midday that will allow for some sea vessels on the water beginning midday Thursday, August 11th.

Maritime community is instructed to remain alert while these conditions last.
