Puerto Peñasco, Sonora. May 16, 2017. Mayor Kiko Munro announced approval of 18 million pesos for important projects to improve streets and boulevards across Puerto Peñasco. The projects approved at the federal level, detailed the mayor, are for the repaving of Blvd. Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez from Blvd. López Portillo to Blvd. Sonora, as well as Calle Revolución between Blvd. Benito Juárez and Juventino Rosas, Calle Miguel Hidalgo between Blvd. Benito Juárez and Blvd. Kino, and Calle Nicolás Bravo from Blvd. Benito Juárez to Juan de la Barrera.
The repaving of Blvd. Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, infrastructure of which has not been maintained for nearly 20 years, will significantly improve conditions along this important city route. Work is set to begin within the next 3 weeks, and should take approximately 3 months.
