RE/MAX Costa del Mar is betting on Puerto Peñasco’s future.

Showcasing a new look, local real estate agent and broker George Bravo has reinaugurated his Ave. Sinaloa office as a REMAX branch – REMAX/Costa del Mar to be exact – and is betting on Puerto Peñasco’s future.

Mayor Ernesto “Kiko” Munro, district representative Lázaro Espinoza, and national president of the Mexican Association of Professional Realtors (AMPI), among other invited guests and real estate agents, were on hand for the February launch of REMAX/Costa del Mar’s office.

In a recent interview with RockyPoint360, Bravo remarked on the tremendous business opportunities foreseen for Puerto Peñasco, and the recent name change from Bravo Realty to become an official REMAX branch. They believe the tremendous international and national support from REMAX will be a wonderful tool for business promotion strategies.

Along with the office’s agents, Bravo is joined by partners Loretta Sernowski, Canadian with more than 25 years of experience in real estate, and Puerto Peñasco native Engineer José Antonio Aguiler, who holds a Masters degree in finance.  Together they strive to dynamically promote Puerto Peñasco as a tourism destination, as well as for real estate investments.  Their sights are set on promoting this area in Arizona, the western United States, and Canada.

Looking at numbers in the local real estate market over the past 5 years is a reason to make changes while seeking a more solid presence.  In analyzing statistics from the Puerto Peñasco chapter of AMPI, 2019 represented 300 sales annually.  Last year, despite the pandemic and health filter in place over several months, both of which were factors that dramatically impacted the local economy, the local real estate market in 2020 still registered 250 operations.  This number indicates the ongoing interest of many from the US and Canada looking to purchase properties in Puerto Peñasco for recreation, retirement, or as an investment.

It’s important to note the current “work from home” condition has allowed several people to relocate.  What’s better than the beach as a spot to continue working from a distance? This, in addition to financing advantages offered by low interest U.S. mortgage credits, allows for investing in beach property.

Bravo’s predictions for 2021 is that it will be a record-breaking sales year. He believes there’s great projections within the local real estate sector over the next 5 years.

Experience, trust, and professionalism are principles that REMAX/Costa del Mar and its realty team employ to take on the challenges of 2021 in Puerto Peñasco’s realty market.

Congratulations, and much success!
