RCPM Circus Mexicus donates education funds to local DIF

Organizers of the recent Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers 2021 Circus Mexicus presented a donation of $9,185 USD to the local office on Integral Family Development (DIF). The resources will be go towards DIF’s scholarship program, as well as to help sustain the Puerto Peñasco Student Home in Mexicali, Baja California.

Zamudio Sánchez detailed the donation of just over 170,000 pesos will assist in continuing to provide support for 257 university students who receive assistance through the DIF scholarship program. She noted, over the past six years, this program has helped over 500 students further their professional studies.  In addition, the local DIF helps maintain the Puerto Peñasco Student home in Mexicali, BC.

On behalf of RCPM, Greg Ross presented the donation to local DIF Director Imelda Zamudio Sánchez, along with City Secretary Terencio Gutiérrez, noting this represents funds raised during this year’s June 10th-14th Circus Mexicus, an annual music celebration headlining Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers.
