On December 30th, art galleries, curios shops, and restaurants across the Old Port will take part in an “Art Walk,” showcasing creations of local artists. The route, which is drawn out so people can participate at their leisure, will open up at 4 p.m.
Envisioned by Adelaida del Real y Pastor, the Art Walk route harks back to the “Ruta del Vino” from years past. Manuel Martínez, artist and part of the organizing committee, indicates the Art Walk is free and the idea is for people to have the opportunity to get to know the artist while strolling through the Old Port and visiting its galleries
