Sponsored this week by Boo Bar – featuring Moonbase reggae & funk this weekend!
There’s no debate, it’s time for the best weather in Rocky Point! Hard to believe, but yes we’re entering October. Get ready for a whirlwind of activity this month, from concerts to hobie cats, world championship boxing to cornhole in Cholla Bay. It’s also one of the best times to visit the Pinacate Biosphere Reserve, named by UNESCO as a Natural World Heritage Site, or perhaps a jaunt to see the seals and sea lions at Bird Island. While you’re planning, don’t forget to register for the 16th Annual Rocky Point Rally coming Nov. 10 – 13, 2016! Let’s run down the weekend!
Driver’s note: Bumpy “rough road” between KM 15 – KM 30 just south of Sonoyta when heading to Rocky Point (not as many pot holes, just bumpy over where they used to be). Watch for SAND on Coastal Highway towards el Golfo.
