More than 200 cyclists ready for “Rolling with my Fed” Bike Race

More than 200 cyclists are signed up to participate in the first “Rolling with my Federal Police” bike race to take place Sunday, October 25th extending from Sonoyta through the Pinacate Biosphere Reserve and to Puerto Peñasco.

Organized by the Federal Police bsed in Sonoyta, and the Venom cyclists group, the race will begin in Sonoyta and end at the Pinacate Biosphere for the 51 KM competitors, and in Puerto Peñasco for those riding 102 KM.

The competition is bringing together more than 200 participants from Mexicali, Hermosillo, Rosarito, Agua Prieta, Sonoyta, Puerto Peñasco, Trincheras, and Caborca, accompanied by their families.

The race is to include various categories in both male and female divisions, as well as prizes ranging from equipped bikes to hotel stays and cash.

The goal of the event is to bring together cycling enthusiasts from across the region, supported by the federal police.

The race, which will be supervised at all times by security agents, will include an awards ceremony on the malecón in the Old Port where medals will be given out to all participants, as well as presentation of trophies and prizes to the winners.
