Let the music play! Rocky Point Weekend Rundown!

beach-bum2 Let the music play! Rocky Point Weekend Rundown! This weekend rundown sponsored by Beach Bum – on the Malecón

Is there a music scene in Puerto Peñasco? Why, yes, there is! Each weekend a myriad of local groups make their way from one stage to another, livening up the night with everything from rock to salsa, and of course there’s the infamous banda groups strewn across the malecón. Along with our local musicians, the eyes and ears of traveling troubadours from both sides of the border have turned toward our shores and we often find ourselves tapping our toes to the familiar likes of Mark Mulligan’s trop-rock or desert rock lyrics and flow of Roger Clyne. Add to this a breadth of singer/songwriters from both Mexico and the U.S. who are making a point of dipping their toes into our scene every now and then, and you’ve got the makings of a great music collection. This weekend offers a great opportunity to get in a lot of these musical offerings! So, let’s get to it and run down the weekend.
