It’s the middle of July. That’s right, July! Humidity is encroaching on folks in Puerto Peñasco while the breeze kicks up just enough sand to seek spots already doused in moisture. Some (well, I) refer to this feeling as “empanizada”, much as you would order a favorite fish dish….breaded. The sea is warm and inviting, with waves decorating the horizon (see earlier wind comment). Let’s stay cool and run down the weekend as we move through the summer.
Tiburones Baseball 2016 – The regular 2016 baseball season has come to an end, with the local Tiburones bringing it in with a record of 34-40. Apparently the top 6 teams will head into a championship series and the Tiburones just eeked it out. Watch for upcoming game info at: Liga Norte de México
