Yes, October! We’ve got championship boxing coming up this weekend, with our very own hometown Juan Francisco “El Gallo” Estrada! The bout is Saturday (at the baseball stadium), plus weigh-in on Friday in the Old Port, so don’t miss out! Also, this past week folks around town started mentioning they’ve turned off ACs at night and are even considering throwing on a light jacket for early morning strolls on the beach, or a shawl for sunset. Days are still warm and so everyone can basically agree it’s one of the best times to be in Rocky Point! Lot’s going on throughout all of October, so let’s run down the weekend!
Driver’s note: Bumpy “rough road” between KM 15 – KM 30 just south of Sonoyta when heading to Rocky Point (not as many pot holes, just bumpy over where they used to be). Watch for SAND on Coastal Highway towards el Golfo.
