Ready for CEDO’s Wet Feet Ocean Camp! All that’s missing is you!
Summer has got a grand adventure in store for you! Join CEDO for the annual Wet Feet Ocean Camp: Connected with the Sea, July 2nd – 6th. For five days and four nights, campers will explore the intertidal area of the Northern Gulf of California, while staying at the CEDO field station in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora. For more information on costs and space, call (638) 382 0113 y (638) 382 0115 or email email@example.com (All meals included)
In 2015, the Wet Feet Ocean Camp was a great success with the participation of 16 campers over five days of learning and adventure! It was unique in that 8 campers from the U.S. joined 9 local campers, making the camp a true intercultural exchange along with the exploration of ecology in the Northern Gulf.
Campers this year will explore marine biology of the Upper Gulf of California through field trips and educational activities. Alongside our staff, who are experts in marine biology and desert ecology, campers will discover sea stars and octopi in the intertidal zones, do the shrimp dance at the estuary, and uncover the secrets of the diverse marine organisms that live in this rich biological area.
