#fuerzaMexico Rocky Point Weekend Rundown!

Today’s Spanish phrase is “Centro de Acopio” – Collection Center.  This phrase has become far too familiar in recent weeks, and never more so than now following the 7.1 earthquake that shook central Mexico yesterday, and quite frankly the country’s soul.  From tropical storms to hurricanes and earthquakes, Centro de Acopio is a term that has now become part of our daily vocabulary, on both sides of the border. As we look to the weekend, and what’s coming up this Fall in Puerto Peñasco, we invite you to help out at one of the local Centros de Acopio and/or consider donations (info below).

The various Centros de Acopio are principally asking for cleaning supplies, canned foods, basic grains, powdered milk, blankets, bedding, flashlights, batteries, toilet paper, sanitary pads, diapers (all ages), wet wipes, medical supplies, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.
