Plenary Session of AZ-Mexico Commission set for Feb. 9 & 10

After being rescheduled from its Fall 2011 date, the Arizona –Mexico Commission will hold its Plenary Session Feb. 9th and 10th here in Rocky Point. The two day conference includes a host of activities from committee meetings, plenary session, press conference, plus a welcome reception and closing gala dinner.  The Arizona-Mexico Commission (also known as AMC) is a cross-border non-profit begun in 1959 by then AZ Governor Paul J. Fannin, with the mission “to improve the well-being and quality of life for residents of Arizona by promoting a strong cooperative relationship with Mexico and Latin America through advocacy, trade, networking, and information” (azmc.org).

As an added bonus this year, for those attending the Arizona-Mexico Commission who choose to stay one more day…you can also get in on the Taste of Peñasco Event and Iron Chef Competition on Feb. 11.
