Extended travel limit hasn’t impacted southbound traffic

November UPDATE on only essential travel across Mexico / US / Canada land entries

Technically, the US/Mexico/Canada agreement to limit non-essential travel has again been extended – now to Dec. 21st per the Mexico Secretary of Foreign Affairs.

HOWEVER, this measure has not been enforced by officials at the Sonoyta land crossing since it began in late March. We remain alert to any changes in actions at the Mexico land entry in Lukeville/Sonoyta.

NOTE: BORDER HOURS 6 am – 8 pm *The most important thing is that entry into the US via land border is only for US citizens and/or US permanent residents. *Please keep in mind US border officials may sternly remind you of the “non-essential travel limitation” when returning North to the U.S. #staysafe #staywell #MaskupRP
