One of the mostly highly anticipated activities in Puerto Peñasco is the annual Spring Rocky Point Triathlon. Each year, the RockyPointTri also does a good job of collecting donations for local organizations. Just recently, donations from the Spring triathlon were presented to the local Office on Integral Family Development (DIF), which will certainly be beneficial in furthering healthy activities of the social service organization.
On June 18th, staff from the Puerto Peñasco Convention and Visitors Bureau presented numerous donated items of sports equipment collected during the Spring RockyPointTri, along with $300 US, to local DIF Director Samuel Ortega. These donations included 177 t-shirts of various colors, 8 caps, 21 visors, and 43 cups, along with a baseball bat.
