Following a series of unexpected setbacks, the Puerto Peñasco Dialysis Unit plans to reopen its doors in September. The clinic, which is the only one of its kind in the city, has been closed for over a year following challenges to remain open during the pandemic.
Nurse training courses through July and August will make it possible for clinic to open its doors once again.
The Dialysis Center, supported by the Proyecto de Asistencia Comunitaria Integral Association (Comprehensive Community Assistance Project), is located one block north of the General Hospital in Col. Las Brisas.
