Mayor Kiko Munro met with Dr. John David Arnold, CEO of PMHDC and member of Southwest Medical AID, in seeking ways to support the various social and health programs of the municipal administration.
The mayor expressed gratitude for the interest of the non-profit organization, which works to provide durable medical equipment and supplies in support of vulnerable groups, organizations, and municipalities.
The city leader stated his interest in working in coordination with Dr. Arnold to continue supporting families in need, as well as to provide tools and medical supplies to health institutions and altruistic organizations that provide free social services.
Given this interest, the mayor furthered, they would like to sign a collaborative agreement with Dr. Arnold as “where there is a need to improve the quality of life, there are no borders.”
Dr. Arnold explained hospital equipment they can deliver includes supplies to treat wounds, syringes, bandages, hospital gowns, hospital beds, crutches, wheelchairs, and cribs, among other items, which are donated by hospitals from Tucson, Arizona and other organizations.
