Arthropod Photo Exhibit @ Schuk Toak Visitors Center

An exhibit put on by photographers from the Pinacate Biosphere Reserve will provide a peek at the fascinating world of arthropods, and aims to present the biodiversity of this species within the area.

More than forty photographs of insects and arachnides, which CONANP staff at the Pinacate Biosphere Reserve come into contact with daily, will be on display at the “Schuk Toak Visitors Center from Sept. 27th – Nov. 20th during regular visitor center hours (8 am – 5 pm).

The idea of the display is to provide a window into showing residents and visitors all of the hundreds of invertebrate species that share this space, and of which we often do not even realize.  The exhibit will form part of the permanent display of the “Schuk Toak” Visitors Center of the Pinacate Biosphere Reserve, which is named a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site as well as one of the Marvels of Mexico.
