The long-awaited arrival of the CMV Astoria has come! Puerto Peñasco’s jaunt into cruise opportunities is a welcome jolt for the New Year. Even if you’re not aboard the first 11-day cruise to depart from Puerto Peñasco on Jan 9th – or missed out on tickets for the luncheon the day before – you can still witness this important chapter in the city’s life as an inaugural ceremony will be held on the Malecón in the Old Port on Thursday 11:50 a.m. – with the Astoria anchored in the Sea of Cortez serving as backdrop. Ahoy!
