There, dozens of participants and supporters will gather to cheer on the cars. Currently, 10 charanga cars are already registered, and registration is still open (500 pesos per car).

The charangas (or soap box cars) cannot have a motor or pedals, and must be pushed by a team of four (plus the pilot) down the hill in the Mirador in a race against time while facing challenges such as curves as well as a ramp. Plus, the track is expected to be longer this year so teams may have to push their charanga across the finish line!
