May 6th – 7th Cinco de Mayo Hobie Cats regatta –Info: bfeilaz@hotmail.com Fleet 66 sponsors the Cinco de Mayo regetta the first weekend in May. The whole fleet works together to put on the event which includes two days of races, a dinner on Saturday night, and raffle prize drawings to help pay for the regatta expenses.
May 6th – BooBar hosts Kentucky Derby fundraiser! Starting around 1 p.m. Saddle ‘up! Grab your best hat and don’t miss out on the 2nd Annual Kentucky Derby afternoon of FUNdraising – with “horse” races around the patio, prizes for best hat, and don’t forget the mint juleps! Proceeds for the Equine Therapy program Los Corceles del Desierto de Sonora.
