The United States Consulate General in Nogales, Mexico is pleased to announce a passport fair for U.S. citizens living in the Puerto Peñasco community who need to renew their U.S. Passports. We look forward to this opportunity to serve Americans living in Rocky Point.
What: Passport Fair
Where: Puesta del Sol Restaurant at Playa Bonita Hotel, Paseo Balboa #100
When: Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 10:00am to 12:00pm
Who: U.S. Citizens who need to renew their U.S. passports
The passport fair will be hosted by Consular Chief Megan Phaneuf and American Citizen Services Chief Nate Rettenmayer. Below is information regarding required documents, picture size, and payment information necessary to process your U.S. passport renewal. Please bring two photocopies of all your documents. We will not be able to process your passport application without seeing your original documentation and receiving the photocopies. We will accept the applications on the 30th, and process the applications upon our return to Nogales. Applicants will then have the option of picking up their passport at the Consulate in Nogales. Alternatively, we are able to send the U.S. passport to a U.S. address. Instructions on how to receive your passport at your U.S. address are attached to this email.

Passport Application Requirements
First Time Applicants
- Passport Application Form DS-11 – do not sign
- Proof of Citizenship –Birth Certificate, CRBA, Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship
- Valid Identification – Driver License, Current Government ID, Military ID
- One Passport Photo – 2×2 inches, face front, white background, taken within the last 6 months
- Pay Application Fee in cash (bring exact change – CASH ONLY) :

Renew Passport
- Passport Application Form DS-82
- Current Passport – 2×2 inches, face front, white background, taken within the last 6 months
- Valid Identification – Driver License, Current Government ID, Military ID
- One Passport Photo– 2×2 inches, face front, white background, taken within the last 6 months
- Pay Application Fee in cash (bring exact change – CASH ONLY):

Passport Card renewal $ 30.00
Passport Book and card renewal $ 140.00
If you choose to receive the approved documents via mail please take into account the points listed below:
- You must provide an envelope with the United States address where you want to receive the document (s) as a recipient, and the address of the Consulate as the sender.
- The envelope must be prepaid and must have a tracking number (FedEx, UPS).
