The summer weather is sneaking up on us in Puerto Peñasco, though humidity remains at bay and evenings are absolutely marvelous! We even hear there’s a “cold” front expected to come through in another week or so before things start to heat up. This means the water temperatures are great, golf courses are green, sunrises are early and sunsets stretch out beyond 7 p.m.  across the Sea of Cortes. Let’s get to the weekend rundown!

Uniting Nations Cup  – May 17th – 19th

For a third year in a row, amateur golfers from the U.S. and Mexico will meet up on the pristine Jack Nicklaus design Peninsula course at Mayan Palace for a friendly though intense competition to see which country is set to take home the UNC this year. The U.S. team was crowned UNC champions in 2011, followed by a rousing come back by the Mexican team in 2012.
