  • More than 100,000 tourists expected in Puerto Peñasco from cities across Sonora, Baja California, and neighboring states
  • Easter weekend occupancy rates at nearly 100% at all city hotels and condo complexes
  • The malecón (Old Port) will be closed off to traffic from the “Anchor” statue from 9 p.m. – 3 a.m. Thursday – Sunday
  • Calle 13 will be closed to vehicle traffic from 8 p.m. – 4 a.m. Thursday- Sunday

  • Check points to be set up in different parts of the city to strengthen safety
