T.o.P. Chef Competition 2014!

Before we head out to enjoy the dining experience in Puerto Peñasco this weekend, we thought we’d relive last week’s T.O.P. Chef competition during the Taste of Peñasco, and the triumphant win of René Acosta from Don Julio’s as 2014 Top Chef. This year’s secret ingredient was artichoke!

Chef René Acosta had prepared a scallop appetizer sauteed with caviar, artichokes, and brandy; his main dish was sauteed tenderloin with artichoke, mashed potato and edible iodine, while for dessert he prepared an artichoke flan with toasted caramel and sugar coated rose petals.  ¡Buen provecho!
