Sylvia Pasquel theater presentation Aug. 1

The renowned Mexican actress Sylvia Pasquel will present the monologue “No seré feliz, pero tengo marido” (I won’t be happy, but I’ve got a husband) on August 1st at the Puerto Peñasco Convention Center following a tour of presentations through Sonora.

Sylvia Pasquel’s acting career spans a period of more than 40 years and she is known for her work in telenovelas, as well as Mexican film and theater.

The monologue “No seré feliz pero tengo marido”, text by Vivana Gómez, retells the ups and downs of the daily life of Viviana, a house wife who has been married for 27 years. The piece is directed by Claudia Ríos and produced by renowned theater businessman Rúben Lara. (Presentation is in Spanish)

Célida Botello, Operational Manager of the Convention Center, explains the sole presentation will take place on Friday, August 1st  9 p.m. at the Puerto Peñasco Convention Center. Tickets to the theater piece that will have you laughing and crying are 200 pesos, or 300 pesos for VIP. Tickets are now on sale at the Convention Center and at the Corona Agency.
