Swim-Bike-Run-Fiesta! Rocky Point Weekend Rundown!

Sponsored this week by Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort
Home of the Rocky Point Triathlon

¡Viva Mayo!  Let’s be clear, though school’s not out yet we are well into the vacation spirit along the Sea of Cortez. May, if you weren’t aware, is full of celebrations on both sides of the border so here you go: Labor Day (May 1 *bank holiday), Día de la Santa Cruz (May 3 – “construction workers” day), Battle of Puebla (5 de mayo – no, it’s not Mexican Independence Day), Día de la Madre (May 10th …might as well be an official holiday), May 13th Mother’s Day in the U.S., Teachers’ Day (May 15th), Students’ Day (May 23)….and U.S. Memorial Day May 28th.  So, get out the calendar as we swim, run, and bike into another weekend in Rocky Point!   By the way, don’t forget to look out over the sea this weekend for the colorful display of hobie-cats during their annual Cinco de Mayo Regatta!  NOTE: CHECK MAP BELOW FOR ROAD CLOSURES DURING ROCKY POINT TRIATHLON THIS WEEKEND!
