As solidarity is stronger than cancer, on Nov. 25th various rock groups and DJs, both locally and from out of Mexicali, are coming together for a night of music at the F#ck Cancer concert at the Peñasco Expo Convention Center!
Organizers detail there will be music from 5 p.m. – 1 a.m., offering a mixture of live music + DJs, and even a Foo Fighters tribute. The event will also offer artwork, food and drinks, plus sale of t-shirts and pins – all going toward the fundraising effort. Requested donation for tickets is 50 pesos (about $3 US). All proceeds raised will go toward ongoing cancer treatments for a young man in town (organizers choosing not to give his name).
