Puerto Peñasco, Sonora. February 17, 2016. – Mayor Kiko Munro supervised projects representing 127,000 square meters of pavement, which were done in record time, verifying these fulfill with planning and quality construction.
During his visit to the four roadway projects, work on which represents an investment of 27.5 million pesos, the Mayor observed progress on the pavement resurfing work that will be concluded within just 6 weeks, though initally contemplated for a period of 6 months.
“We are showing that when there’s a will, there’s a way,” he expressed while visiting the resurfacing work along the avenues of Juan Aldama, Constitución, Francisco I. Madero, and Blvd. Rafael Godoy. At 90% advance, these are now in the final phase.
With respect to the start of paving work along Calle San Luis with hydraulic concrete, representing an investment of 32.1 million pesos, Public Projects Director Terencio Gutiérrez Valenzuela detailed they are currently in the phase of building curbs and sidewalks as well as installing outlets and residential discharges along the sewage network.
