OTL Softball hittin’ the Reef 3/29

Over-the-Line softball fans gather three times a year on the sands of Rocky Point for some OTL fun, plus fundraising OTL-puerto-penasco-2012-6 OTL Softball hittin' the Reef 3/29for the year-long activities of the Santa Claus Club.  This weekend, March 29th, they’ll be at it again near the Reef – the traditional OTL sandy fields and then again come June and October. Organizer John Fowler, who is also the spirit and lifeline behind the Santa Claus Club, explains the entrance will be a little different given ongoing work on the Home Port (which is stretching quite a ways out to sea we should add).  John explains, this year, the entrance to the beach will be a little closer to the road to Cholla, and plan to turn left at the guard gate. There’s a $5 US charge per car for getting out to the beach (just as before), though you may also choose to park along the fence and walk over the “fields”.

So, grab some sunblock, a comfy chair and cool drinks and take in a day of softball on the beach.  John says things get underway around 9 a.m.   For more information: Please contact John Fowler of the Santa Claus Club  602-840-1528.  Upcoming dates: June 7, October 25
