Happy New Year! Following a truly SPECTACULAR sunset as 2017 winded down, it’s 2018 and Puerto Peñasco is readying for a busy year. First off, this weekend is Kings Day (Día de los Reyes Magos) – replete with toys and the traditional “rosca de reyes” – then we gear up for chili cook-offs and rock ‘n roll with RCPM’s January Jam right around the corner. Hope it was a great holiday season for all and let’s get started by running down the weekend and what’s coming up!

Jan. 6th Fourth Annual Kings Day Toy Run (Moto Juguetón) w/Rocky Point Rally Meet up before noon on the malecón in the Old Port to ride out to gift drop off. Toy Run ride starts at 12 p.m. Toys can be dropped off at Playa Bonita in advance.

Tickets are then exchanged at each booth depending on the dish or beverage (i.e. 1 – 2 tickets for smaller dishes or maybe 5 tickets for a whole plate). CEDO offers FREE! Nature Talks that include a Tour of the CEDO Field Station twice a week in English and in Spanish. The English talks are Tuesday at 2PM and Saturday at 4PM. The Spanish talks are Tuesday at 4PM and Saturday at 2PM.
