Doctubre – Rocktober – Rocktobeer – Fest time – Whatever you call it, it’s here! Every now and then it really rains in Puerto Peñasco, and earlier this week we all got a good douse of tropical storm Simon as it made its way from Baja California and across the Sea of Cortéz. A steady 30+ hour rain was enough to do its toll on area pot holes, and cause new lakes to form across various parts of town. By Wednesday afternoon, the sun was eager to come back out and sunny days are ahead of us – though be sure to drive carefully around town as you weave through a number of new “obstacles” Simon left behind. In the meantime, let’s run down this busy Fall weekend!
