Investment in new street signs

Municipal Administration invests 809,000 in street signage

Puerto Peñasco, Sonora. March 16, 2016. Following an investment of 809,615 pesos from the Social Infrastructure Contributions Fund (FAIS), Mayor Kiko Munro symbolically helped install the first of 150 new street signs soon to go up across the city.

After placing the first new street signs at the corner of Juan Aldama and Blvd. Las Conchas in the neighborhood of Nuevo Peñasco, the Mayor detailed streets in the Nuevo Peñasco, Nueva Esperanza, and Obrera neighborhoods will benefit from funds stemming from FAIS.

In Nuevo Peñasco:

Along Blvd. Las Conchas, from Callejón 31 norte to Calle 26 José S. Healy; Blvd Rafael Godoy from Melchor Ocampo to Aquiles Serdán; Calle Juan Aldama from Av. 48 to Av. 59; Calle Simón Morúa from Av. 50 to Av. 63; Calle Aquiles Serán from Av. 48 to Av. 55; Ave. 51 from Calle Aquiles Serdán to Calle Rodolfo Ruíz Cortines; Av. 56 from Calle Juan Aldama to Calle Lázaro Cárdenas and; Av. 59 from Calle Juan Aldama to Calle Lázaro Cárdenas.

In Nueva Esperanza:

Av. Constitución from Calle Hermosillo to Calle Dr. Gracida; Calle Dr. Gracida from Av. Cuauhtémoc to Av. Guillermo Prieto; Av. Cuauhtémoc from Calle Altamirano to Calle Nacozari; Av. Puerto Escondido from Calle Guaymas to Calle Dr. Gracida; Calle Agua Prieta from Av. Cuauhtémoc to Av. Puerto de la Paz; Av. Niños Héroes from Calle Guaymas to Calle Cananea and; Calle Hermosillo from Puerto de San Felipe to Puerto de Topolobampo.
