The holiday spirit continues to wrap its December arms around Puerto Peñasco. The calendar is filled with toy, blanket, and food drives, holiday music and dance concerts, traditional pastorelas, posadas, and piñatas. Plaza a la Madre provides a holiday stroll for families, replete with towering tree, glimmering sleigh, and a stable awaiting the nativity scene. Across the community, traditional pilgrimages wrap up this weekend with celebrations on December 12th, which marks Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe, honoring the patrón saint of Mexico. Along with the holidays, there is boxing, music, parades, and concerts to look forward to…so, let’s get to it and run down the weekend!
