taste-of-penasco-28-620x413 Grab a fork! 6th Taste of Peñasco coming Feb. 16th!As in years past, though the day highlights tasty treats and talented chefs from across town, it is principally a fundraising event for local charities. This year, funds raised from the Taste of Peñasco will go toward the Santa Claus Club, the Fire Department, and the hemodialysis project of the local DIF. Puerto Peñasco’s First Lady, and DIF President, Rafaela Félix de Figueroa explains there are a number of people in Puerto Peñasco (including children) requiring hemodialysis and up to this point have had to go outside the city to seek care. This represents significant costs and time for families, many of whom are of limited means.
