Happy 4th of July! Since we last chatted, Mexico elected a new President (who will be sworn in Dec. 1st) – Puerto Peñasco reelected its Mayor (term starts Sept. 16th) – and Mexico got knocked out of the World Cup after falling to Brazil. Yes, a lot can happen in a week! Whew!
To celebrate the 4th, last night around 8 p.m. Las Palomas launched their annual firework display – but you can still catch the sparks from the Pirate Boat every time they head out for sunset. Or just sing a little RCPM Counterclockwise, “…the kids are lightin’ firecrackers boom! Boom! Boom!” However you choose to spend the holiday weekend, enjoy a little red, white, and blue on the rocks and let’s run it down for you:
