It’s World Cup fever in Mexico! Now that Mexico has finally made it into the knock-out rounds of the 2018 World Cup, having squeaked by after losing to Sweden this morning …yet helped by South Korea’s win over Germany, the excitement is palpable across our playas. Mexico team shirts abound on many a street corner across Puerto Peñasco! Be sure to get yours before the next game!
Plus, this weekend also heralds Mexico’s Election Day (Sunday, July 1st) – including local elections for mayor and representatives, state Senators, and the national Presidential election. Keep in mind, a “dry law” will be in effect July 1st – meaning no alcohol sales. HOWEVER, many local establishments will still be home for good times and good music throughout the weekend!
